Casa Rossa

The Casa Rossa Prize was established in 1987 to award the ‘best independent film of the year’.

The first to win it were Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi in 1987, and among the latest to be awarded the Casa Rossa are Gianfranco Rosi, Pietro Marcello and Michelangelo Frammartino.

The Casa Rossa section includes a competition between five films by authors in their first or second feature film, and will be judged by the BFF Giuria Giovani.
