Itineranze Doc deadline extended

The deadline to participate in the Itineranze Doc development project has been extended to 15 April!

Itineranze Doc is an atelier for the development of first works, unique in Italy, which unites six festivals dedicated to independent cinema, IsReal in Nuoro, Sole e Luna in Palermo, PerSo in Perugia, Front Doc in Aosta and Festival dei Popoli in Florence.

A training and creative development course dedicated to film projects in the early stages of development, strongly linked to the cinema of reality, which will take place between May and November 2022, in the host cities of the six organising festivals.

It is aimed at Italian directors or directors resident in Italy, without age limits, who have already made at least one short film and who have a full-length film project in development, related to the “cinema of reality”.

The first stage of Itineranze Doc will be at Bellaria Film Festival, followed by IsReal, Sole Luna Doc Festival, PerSo Film Festival, FrontDoc, Festival dei Popoli. The aim is to give a new impetus to the cinema of the real and to put talents, perspectives, ideas and visions into circulation by exploiting the experience of experts in the sector, festival directors, distributors and broadcasters and accompanying the participants through the main stages leading up to the making of their work: from writing to preparing the pitch, from clarifying artistic choices to the search for producers and sources of funding.
